Weed/Grass Control Notice

Village Ordinance Ch.7.07

Village of Radisson reminds residents of the Weed/Grass Control Height Regulations.

A person owning, occupying, or controlling any property in the Village of Radisson is required by law to cut and maintain such lawns, grasses, noxious weeds, and brush to a height not to exceed thirteen (13) inches on this land. This duty includes the ditch or shoulder of the public street or highway adjoining the property.
 
Ten (10) days after the posting of a notice given as stated, the Village may cut or maintain any premises not complying with the Village Ordinance Ch. 7.07 & WI Statute 66.0407. The Village will charge the owner or occupants for this expense.  If not paid by October 1st, of the same year, The Village shall assess expenses therefore against such properties as a special charge pursuant to Wi Stats. 66.0627.

Welcome to Radisson, WI

The Village of Radisson was incorporated in 1952 and is named in honor of Pierre-Espirit Radisson.

It is located in the Town of Radisson, Sawyer County, Wisconsin at the intersection of Wisconsin State Highways 27/70, Highway 40 and County Highway H.

The Village is only 28 miles from Hayward, the county seat.

The Village, which covers approximately .39 square miles from just north of Highway 27/70 and extends southward along Highway 40 on the eastern side of the Couderay River, had a 2020 census of 273.

In the spring of 2020, fiber optic internet service was implemented to give our residents better communication while enjoying nature.
